At Shiney Steel, we produce custom forged discs & blanks using our open-die forging process. Forged discs are used as blanks for machining or as finished components in industrial systems. Our custom disc forgings can be produced in a wide range of high-performance materials in custom diameters and thicknesses to meet your exact specifications.

Forged Disc Capabilities and Options

Our open-die forging process allows us to produce discs with excellent structural integrity and uniform grain flow. Dimensions, weights, and thicknesses are fully customizable to meet each project's requirements.

Shiney Steel also offers secondary services that can bring your custom forged discs to tighter tolerances or improve their performance properties. Our secondary services include CNC machining, rough turning, heat treating, and more.

Disc And Blanks Maximum Diameters
Carbon, alloy and stainless steel: max diameter is 84 inches with a max length of 125 inches.
Nickel and super alloys: max diameter is 50 inches with a max length of 125 inches.
